In 2026, TOFF MOBILITY will begin the full-scale launch of our sustainable future air mobility services, bringing electric aircraft operations into reality. Through this newsletter, we are pleased to share our vision, ambitions, and growth plans for the year ahead.

분주하지만 뿌듯했던 Landing 2025 
특허획득부터 대형 화물드론 도입, 아시아 최초 전기비행기 인증까지

설립 3년 차를 맞은 2025년은

토프모빌리티가 기술과 사업 모두에서 한 단계 도약한 의미 있는 해였습니다.

회사는 국내·해외 출원을 포함한 총 4건의 특허를 취득하며

기술 경쟁력을 강화했고, 지식재산처가 주최한 지식재산 스타트업 경진대회에서

혁신상을 수상하며 미래항공 모빌리티 솔루션 기업으로서의 가능성을 공식적으로 인정받기도 했습니다.

또한 국내 최초로 650kg 이상 대형 화물드론 2대를 성공적으로 도입하며

무인항공 분야의 새로운 카테고리를 개척했습니다.

하지만 무엇보다도 국내 최초이자

아시아 최초로 전기비행기 안정성 인증을 획득함으로써,

토프모빌리티는 대한민국 항공 역사에서 스타트업으로서

전례 없는 성과를 남기고

2026년 미래항공 모빌리티 상용화를 본격적으로 준비하게 되었습니다.

Marking its 3rd year since establishment, 2025 was a meaningful year in which TOFF MOBILITY achieved a significant leap forward in both technology and business.

The company strengthened its technological competitiveness by securing four patents, including both domestic and international filings, and was officially recognized for its potential as a future air mobility solutions provider by winning the Innovation Award at a startup intellectual property competition hosted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO).

In addition, TOFF MOBILITY pioneered a new category in unmanned aviation by successfully introducing two large cargo drones exceeding 650 kg, the first of their kind in Korea.

Most notably, by obtaining the first electric aircraft safety certification in Korea, and the first in Asia, TOFF MOBILITY achieved an unprecedented milestone for a startup in the history of Korean aviation. This achievement has positioned the company to fully prepare for the commercialization of future air mobility services in 2026.

3월 관광 및 훈련비행 서비스와 함께

본격적인 전기비행기 상용화 서비스가 시작되고

대형 UAV인 화물드론의 도입과 실증을 통해

Beginning in March, the full-scale commercialization of electric aircraft services will launch alongside tourism and training flights. At the same time, the introduction and demonstration of large cargo UAVs will bring future air mobility into everyday life.

압도적인 조용함과 쾌적함을 자랑하는 전기비행기에 탑승하여

아름다운 자연풍경과 도시의 모습을 하늘에서 즐기실 수 있습니다.

관광비행 서비스는 현재 수도권 인근 지역을 중심으로 서비스를 준비 중이며,

3월경 고객 여러분께 선보일 수 있도록 열심히 준비 중입니다.

님께서 전기비행기를 직접 타 보실 수 있는 3월을 기대해주세요.

2. 대형 화물드론의 실증 및 도입 본격화

얼마전 소방청과 관련된 뉴스를 보고

대형 화물드론의 필요성을 더욱 느낄 수 있었습니다.

(관련기사 : 연합뉴스 “소방청 ‘고층건물 223곳 중 32곳서 불량 적발…조치 명령’” )

이처럼 대형 화물드론의 필요성은 갈수록 늘어가고 있으며,

이에 토프모빌리티는 지난 12월 대한민국 최초로 대형 화물드론을 도입하였습니다.

최대 이륙중량 650kg의 대형 화물드론은

사다리차가 닿지 않는 초고층건물,

유인 헬리콥터로는 위험한 산불 진화에 유용하게 활용될 수 있습니다. 

Recently, news related to the National Fire Agency of Korea further highlighted the growing need for large cargo drones
(related article: Yonhap News, “National Fire Agency: Defects found at 32 out of 223 high-rise buildings… corrective orders issued”).

As illustrated by this case, the demand for large cargo drones continues to increase. In response, TOFF MOBILITY introduced Korea’s first large cargo drone this past December.

With a maximum takeoff weight of 650 kg, this large cargo drone can be effectively utilized in situations such as ultra-high-rise buildings beyond the reach of ladder trucks and wildfire suppression operations that are too dangerous for manned helicopters.

미국의 FAA와 유럽의 EASA 역시 이에 발맞추어

조종사의 시야를 벗어난 장거리 운송(BVLOS)에 대한 규제를 완화하고

안전 기준을 마련하는 단계에 있는 등

고중량 드론의 상용화 움직임은 전세계적으로 이미 활발히 진행되고 있습니다.

In line with this trend, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Europe’s European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) are also moving forward by easing regulations and establishing safety standards for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) long-range operations. As a result, the commercialization of high-payload drones is already actively progressing on a global scale.

안전하고 효율적인 UAV(무인비행체)인 대형 화물드론은

방재, 물류 등 다양한 분야에서 전에 없던 큰 변화를 이끌어낼 수 있습니다.

2026년 토프모빌리티는 본격적인 실증과 함께

지속적인 기체도입을 통해 국내 대형 화물드론 시장을 확대해 나갈 계획입니다.

Safe and efficient large cargo UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) have the potential to drive unprecedented change across a wide range of fields, including disaster response and logistics. In 2026, TOFF MOBILITY plans to expand Korea’s large cargo drone market through full-scale demonstration operations and the continued introduction of additional aircraft.

3. 전기비행기 데이터 확보를 위한 도전, Green Flight Way

항공기를 효율적으로 운용하기 위해선 많은 노하우와 데이터가 필요합니다.

항공기가 날기에 가장 적합한 고도는 어디인지, 필요한 충전량은 어느 정도인지,

기온에 따라 소요되는 충전시간, 최적의 경로 등 데이터가 쌓여갈수록

점점 효율적인 운항관리 시스템을 구축할 수 있습니다.

이를 통해 전기비행기의 유지운영에 있어

누구와도 비교불가한 양질의 데이터를 확보할 수 있는 것은 물론

이를 바탕으로 고객에게도 더욱 고도화된 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 됩니다.

Operating aircraft efficiently requires extensive know-how and data, from identifying the most optimal cruising altitude, determining the required charging capacity, understanding charging time variations based on temperature, to selecting the most efficient flight routes. As data accumulates, increasingly sophisticated and efficient flight operations management systems can be developed.

Through this process, TOFF MOBILITY will not only secure unmatched, high-quality operational data for the maintenance and operation of electric aircraft, but also leverage this data to deliver more advanced and refined services to our customers.

2026년 토프모빌리티는 전기비행기의 운항 데이터를 수집하고

친환경 전기비행기의 성능을 널리 알릴 수 있도록

‘2026 Green Flight Way 프로젝트’를 준비하고 있습니다.

서울에서 출발, 해안선을 따라 대한민국 국토를

반시계 방향으로 일주하는 비행 프로젝트인데요,

이를 통해 실제 다양한 컨디션에서의 전기비행기 운항 데이터를

확보할 수 있을 것이라 생각됩니다.

토프모빌리티의 또다른 도전이 될 이 프로젝트로

전기비행기의 성능을 많은 분들께 보여드릴 수 있기를 기대합니다.

In 2026, TOFF MOBILITY is preparing the “2026 Green Flight Way Project” to collect operational data from electric aircraft while widely showcasing the performance of eco-friendly electric aviation.

The project involves a flight departing from Seoul and traveling counterclockwise around the Korean Peninsula along the coastline. Through this journey, we expect to gather valuable operational data across a wide range of real-world conditions.

As another bold challenge for TOFF MOBILITY, we look forward to demonstrating the capabilities of electric aircraft to a broader audience through this project.

한국과 중국의 스타트업 협력, 그 현장에 가다
2026 한중 벤처스타트업 서밋 참가

1월 7일 중국 상하이에서 열린 한중 벤처 스타트업 서밋에

토프모빌리티도 참석했습니다.

대한민국의 이재명 대통령을 비롯,

배경훈 부총리 겸 과학기술정통부 장관, 한성숙 중소벤처기업부 장관,

상하이 부시장 등  양국 정부 관계자와 스타트업,

벤처캐피탈 관계자들이 참석하여

한중 창업생태계에 대한 경험을 공유하고

비즈니스 매칭과 네트워킹 등이 이루어진 이 행사에

저희 토프모빌리티도 참석했는데요,

양국 스타트업씬의 트렌드와 정부기관의 제도적 지원,

새로운 미래산업에 대한 기대도 엿볼 수 있는 시간이었습니다.

On January 7, TOFF MOBILITY participated in the Korea–China Venture Startup Summit held in Shanghai, China.
The event was attended by government officials from both countries—including President Lee Jae-myung of the Republic of Korea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Technology Bae Kyung-hoon, Minister of SMEs and Startups Han Sung-sook, and the Vice Mayor of Shanghai—as well as startup founders and venture capital representatives.

Through experience sharing, business matching, and networking sessions focused on the Korea–China startup ecosystem, TOFF MOBILITY had the opportunity to take part in meaningful exchanges. The summit offered valuable insights into startup trends in both countries, institutional support from government agencies, and expectations surrounding emerging future industries.
