이러한 성과는 단순한 ‘선정’의 나열을 넘어, 전기비행기 인증부터 실제 운항, 그리고 시장 확장으로 이어지는 미래항공 모빌리티(FAM) 생태계 구축의 중요한 이정표를 제시합니다. 그렇다면, 토프모빌리티는 어떤 혁신적인 흐름을 만들어가고 있을까요?☺️

This year, TOFF MOBILITY has been recognized for both its technological prowess and business viability, securing positions in a total of 6 major support programs.

먼저, 문화체육관광부와 한국관광공사가 주관하는 ‘제17회 초기관광벤처 지원사업’에 선정되었습니다. 해당 사업은 전국 약 100개 내외 기업만을 선발하는 국가 공식 육성 프로그램으로, 사업성·기술력·성장성을 종합적으로 평가합니다.

토프모빌리티는 전기비행기를 활용한 체험 및 교육 서비스 모델을 기반으로, 미래형 관광 산업을 선도할 ‘전기비행 기반 미래관광 콘텐츠’로 선정되었습니다. 특히 기존 지상 중심 관광에서 벗어나, 저소음·저탄소 특성을 갖춘 전기비행기를 활용한 항공 관광이라는 점에서 차별성을 인정받았으며, 지역 축제 및 지자체와의 연계 운영, 그리고 항공관광 플랫폼을 통한 확장 가능성까지 포함한 미래지향적 비즈니스 모델로 높은 평가를 받았습니다.

이는 단순한 기술 실증을 넘어, 전기비행기가 실제 ‘서비스’로서 시장에 진입할 수 있음을 보여주는 사례입니다. 토프모빌리티는 앞으로 님께서 전기비행기를 통해 새로운 방식의 여행을 경험하실 수 있도록 준비하겠습니다. ✈️

TOFF MOBILITY was selected for the 17th Tourism Venture Support Program led by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, a national program that recognizes companies with strong business potential, technology, and growth capability.

TOFF MOBILITY was selected for its innovative “electric aircraft-based future tourism content,” built around an experiential and educational service model using electric aircraft. Moving beyond conventional ground-centered tourism, the company was recognized for introducing a new form of aerial tourism powered by low-noise, low-carbon electric aircraft. The project also received strong evaluations for its future scalability, including collaboration opportunities with local festivals and municipalities, as well as expansion through an aviation tourism platform.

This highlights the potential of electric aircraft as a practical service beyond technology. TOFF MOBILITY will continue preparing so that can experience a new way of travel ✈️

또한 토프모빌리티는 '고양시 스마트모빌리티 혁신기업 지원사업'에 선정되며, 도시 환경 기반에서 미래항공 기술을 검증할 수 있는 기회를 확보했습니다.

이번 사업에서 토프모빌리티는 AI 기반 운항 효율 최적화와 예지정비* 기능을 결합한 통합 유지관리 플랫폼을 중심으로 참여했습니다. 해당 시스템은 실제 비행 데이터를 기반으로 배터리 상태(SOC/SOH*)와 기상 환경, 운항 조건을 종합적으로 분석해 비행 가능 범위와 유지관리 시점을 예측하도록 설계되었습니다.

한편, 고양시에서는 킨텍스 인근 약 1.5만㎡ 규모의 도심항공교통(UAM)* 수직이착륙장(버티포트)* 구축이 추진되며, 수도권 도심 항공 운항을 위한 핵심 인프라 조성이 본격화되고 있습니다. 김포공항–수색–대덕을 잇는 실증 노선 검증과 함께, 향후 정비·운항 통제·시설 관리까지 통합적으로 검증되는 거점으로 기능할 예정입니다.

이러한 인프라 확장은 전기비행기를 포함한 미래항공 모빌리티가 실제 도시 환경 속에서 운영될 수 있는 기반이 빠르게 마련되고 있음을 보여주며, 토프모빌리티 역시 이러한 흐름 속에서 실증과 사업화를 동시에 추진할 수 있는 환경을 확보해 나가고 있습니다.

Meanwhile, in Goyang City, the development of a large scale Urban Air Mobility UAM vertiport near KINTEX is underway, marking the beginning of key infrastructure development for urban air operations in the Seoul metropolitan area. Along with the validation of test routes connecting Gimpo Airport, Susaek, and Daedeok, the site is expected to serve as a hub for integrated verification, covering maintenance, flight control, and facility operations.

This expansion of infrastructure demonstrates that the foundation for operating future aviation mobility, including electric aircraft, within real urban environments is being rapidly established. TOFF MOBILITY is also securing opportunities within this ecosystem to advance both real world validation and commercialization.

Lastly, TOFF MOBILITY’s selection for the Gangwon Early Stage Startup Program provides an opportunity to validate its technology and service model in a real regional environment. Beyond financial support, the program also connects investment, market access, and mentoring, helping to accelerate practical commercialization.

In January, TOFF MOBILITY successfully conducted an official takeoff of an electric aircraft at Yangyang International Airport using existing airport infrastructure, demonstrating that real world airport operations are feasible. This experience will serve as an important reference for expanding region based air services and advancing future validation projects.

이와 함께 토프모빌리티는 TIPS 창업사업화, TIPS 해외마케팅, 창업중심대학 등 주요 기술·사업화 프로그램에도 선정되며, 기술성과 시장성을 동시에 검증받았습니다. 이처럼 이번 상반기 성과를 살펴보면, 단순히 ‘여러 사업에 선정되었다’는 결과를 넘어 기술 검증, 시장 검증, 도시·지역 실증, 그리고 글로벌 확장 가능성까지 단계적으로 이어지는 흐름을 확인할 수 있습니다.

토프모빌리티는 기존 항공 산업이 구축해온 안전성과 운영 경험을 기반으로, 전기 기반 항공이라는 새로운 선택지를 더해가고 있습니다. 기술과 인프라, 서비스가 자연스럽게 이어지는 구조를 통해 보다 현실적인 항공 생태계를 만들어가고자 합니다.

Alongside this, TOFF MOBILITY was also selected for major programs such as TIPS commercialization, TIPS global marketing, and the Startup Centered University initiative, further validating both its technological capability and market potential. Taken together, these achievements reflect more than a series of selections, they show a clear progression from technology validation to market validation, urban and regional deployment, and ultimately toward global expansion.

Building on the safety standards and operational experience established in the existing aviation industry, TOFF MOBILITY is introducing a new alternative through electric aviation. 지난 뉴스레터(Vol.11)에서 전기비행기 충전장치의 국내 특허 등록 소식을 전해드렸는데요, 2026년 4월 24일, 해당 기술의 미국 특허 출원이 완료되었습니다.

전기비행기 산업에서 ‘에너지’는 더 이상 보조적인 요소가 아니라, 전체 운용을 결정짓는 핵심 인프라입니다. 전기비행기는 비행 자체보다도 안정적인 에너지 공급과 효율적인 충전 시스템이 함께 갖춰져야만 실제 운항이 가능하죠. 토프모빌리티의 전기비행기 충전장치는 이러한 흐름 속에서, 전기비행기 운용을 위한 에너지 공급과 관리 효율을 높이기 위한 핵심 장치로 개발되었습니다. 향후에는 운항 데이터와 연계된 관리 체계까지 함께 발전해 나갈 예정입니다.

In the electric aircraft industry, energy is no longer a supporting element, it is a core infrastructure that determines overall operations. Beyond flight itself, stable energy supply and efficient charging systems are essential for real world operation.

TOFF MOBILITY is accelerating its hiring efforts in 2026 alongside its business expansion. The team is growing with a focus on light aircraft pilots, maintenance engineers, and business support roles, evolving from just two members in 2023 into a team of over ten professionals.

In particular, the pilot recruitment post attracted strong attention, reaching approximately 13,000 views on Instagram and drawing a higher than expected number of applications, resulting in a competitive selection process. As the company progresses from certification to commercialization and market formation, professionals from various fields are coming together, further strengthening the organization’s foundation.

Moving forward, TOFF MOBILITY will continue its growth with individuals who share a passion for aviation, strong expertise and perseverance, environmental awareness, and respect for people.
